Friendmones....

Friends do bring along all the happiness, nostalgia, warmth and also the sense to throw caution to the winds. All sense and sensibilities are lost in rush of those strange hormones. Yesterday Sid came over from Mysore, and i was on cloud eleven. It began with picking him up at the railway station at 2'o' clock in the night..whoa what an adrenaline chilling experience!! Driving an illegal vehicle and wading through dust, cold and just 20 kilometers, doesn't really help in bringing in the bonhomie.

So after the adventure Sid walked out as a sleepy zombie barely able to smile and hug me as he settled his 6feet frame over my humble scooter(Activa for the enlightened). I kept yapping all along the way, only to be acknowledged by the snorts and guffaws expressing the mild astonishment anyone would have at the gibberish coming out of a 24 year old.

We reached home, Sid revived himself over a cup of coffee and then, mercifully, announced that he has a paper at 9 AM at the other end of this city called Hyderabad. A frenzy of finding pillows and sheets ensued, giving us little over 3 hours to manage a nap.
Early morning, barely done with the basic ceremonies we started our voyage to Nizam College. Strangely though the address said Osmania University. I went ahead with directions for Osmania University, gesticulating in all the tongues remotely known to me. Sid, for the first time interested, enquired what was i on about? I said that meant "where is that place?", osmania ekkada undi in telugu. Only when he was about to applaud me on my versatility did we realise that the address had a first line too and rapidly did diminish my short lived, and meticulously planned, moment in limelight. We were 7 km away from the radar... Rushing over to Basheerbagh like Quli Qutub Shah rushing towards Taramati, i rushed to save some face ...And just in time we reached...Nizam College , Osmania University (Affiliated To.)..what an address!!!
